Understanding the Christian Worldview   The New Testament is one of the most read and most misunderstood books of all time. This class seeks to interpret the beginnings of Christianity from the lens of the Hebrew Scriptures as well as the cultural, political, and social issues of the first century world. Discover how the first hearers of Jesus would have understood and responded to what he proclaimed about the kingdom. The class builds the Christian worldview from the Gospels and continues right through to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the inclusion of the Gentiles, and the rich understanding of Jesus’ death for our sins from a new covenant perspective.

New Testament Greek   Karl Maresco teaches a beginning biblical Greek class starting with the alphabet and pronunciation and continuing on to noun case endings as well as verbs. The class was taught for the students present rather than for recording purposes, but may still be of great benefit to internet listeners. Generally the Greek textbook by Hewitt was followed. Listen in and begin to unlock the world of the New Testament in the language of its manuscripts.

The Spirit of Truth   The week focused on the portions of New Testament Scripture that explain the purpose and effects of the holy spirit in relation to the believer. Much attention was given to the Gospel of John chapters 13 through 17 because this is the teaching Jesus gave in order to prepare his disciples for life without him physically present. Also attention was given to other critical sections such as Romans 8; 1 Corinthians 12-14; 2 Corinthians 3 and more. Unfortunately we had some technical difficulties while recording and three of the teachings were lost. We apologize for any discontinuity that resulted. Enjoy!
