Evangelism Conference
June 6-8, 2008
The winter has melted into spring and before long people will be out in abundance to enjoy the coming summer months. This means that we northeasterners are presented with an opportunity to get out of our caves and speak the gospel of the kingdom and the cross to a world in desperate need. It is our privilege to share the message of repentance and forgiveness on behalf of the coming Son of Man.
- Topics to be covered in this conference include:
- why evangelism is needed
- what the biblical message is
- what the aim of evangelism is
- a simple method for doing evangelism
- guidelines to aid in communicating effectively
- overcoming common objections
Video footage of actual evangelism encounters will be shown so that you can see how this all plays out in the real world. In addition, there will be time for practicing evangelism on eachother so that we can try out what we've learned in a safe environment. Furthermore, there will be time for questions and answers.
Come, bring your Bible, and let's spend some time working on our understanding and practice of evangelism.
Note: you will not be required to actually do evangelism to nonbelievers during the conference. The primary purpose is to inform. However, an optional Saturday evening outing will be available for those interested in “trying out” what was taught at the park.
Why not sign up today? Click here to register online, or please call our office (518)785-8888 and let us know that you are planning on coming. The cost is $25 and lunch is included on Saturday. Housing and other meals are on your own.
